Cincinnati’s marquee holiday celebration kicks off Saturday, Nov. 30 downtown. With fireworks, ice skating, a festive winter market and photos with Santa, Downtown Dazzle is the perfect way to kick off the season. Don’t forget to arrive at Fountain Square by 6:30 p.m. each Saturday to catch Santa repelling off a Cincinnati skyrise.
PNC Festival of Lights
There are Christmas light displays, and then there is the light display put on every year by the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. The massive event turns the zoo into a holiday wonderland. Just remember that lines can be long, so plan ahead and consider purchasing your tickets online ahead of time.

LM&M North Pole Express
Make a visit to the LM&M Railroad to ride the train with Santa himself. The hour-long ride features elves, hot chocolate and cookies and a special gift for each child on board, and trains run seven days a week through Dec. 28.
